Install this self-signed certificate to trust internal services without browser warnings.
Click Download Certificate above. Chrome will
save octopix.crt to your Downloads folder.
Double-click the downloaded .crt file. The
Certificate Import Wizard will open.
Click Install Certificate… → Choose Local Machine → Click Next.
Select "Place all certificates in the following store" → Browse → choose Trusted Root Certification Authorities.
Click Finish. Confirm the security warning. Restart Chrome completely.
Download the certificate and double-click it. Keychain Access will open.
Add it to the System keychain (not Login) so all users are covered.
Find the certificate in Keychain Access → Double-click it → Expand Trust → Set "When using this certificate" to Always Trust.
Enter your macOS password to confirm. Restart Chrome.
Download the certificate. Firefox may automatically detect it and show a dialog — if so, skip to step 3.
Go to ☰ Menu → Settings → Privacy & Security →
scroll to Certificates → click
View Certificates…
Click the Authorities tab →
Import… → select the downloaded
.crt file.
Check "Trust this CA to identify websites" → click OK.
No restart needed — Firefox trusts it immediately.
Download the certificate. Double-click the
.crt file to open the import wizard.
Click Install Certificate → Select Local Machine (requires admin) → Next.
Choose "Place all certificates in the following store" → Browse → Trusted Root Certification Authorities.
Click Finish and confirm. Restart Microsoft Edge fully.
Edge on macOS uses the system Keychain. Follow the same steps as Chrome on macOS.
Open the .crt → Add to
System keychain → Set to
Always Trust → restart Edge.
Download and double-click the .crt file. Keychain
Access opens automatically.
Add to the System keychain. Find the cert, double-click → expand Trust → set to Always Trust.
Enter your macOS admin password. Restart Safari.
Tap Download Certificate on your iOS device. When prompted, tap Allow to download the profile.
Open Settings → tap Profile Downloaded at the top → tap Install → enter your passcode.
Go to Settings → General → About → Certificate Trust Settings.
Toggle ON for the installed certificate under "Enable Full Trust for Root Certificates".
